Automation still needs inputs
Performance Max and related automation tools do not remove the need for marketing fundamentals. They make those fundamentals more important. A campaign trained on poor conversion events, vague audience signals and generic creative will learn from poor information. A campaign trained on real revenue, qualified leads and sharp creative has a better chance to help.
